If there's one thing we're sure of here at Byrdie HQ, it's that wherever we travel, the Naked Heat Palette travels with us. The only thing we can't handle is its size. It doesn't slot into our tiny Topshop tote if we're planning a day-to-night rendezvous, and while it fits in our carry-on suitcase, it takes up a sizeable amount of space. Until now—because Urban Decay just made our palette dreams come true (yes, we dream in eye shadows—don't you?), and we have news that it's soon to be launching a Naked Petite Heat Palette (£26) in the UK.
It's essentially the original Naked Heat's newer, fresher little sister. Complete with six new shades that work alone or can be combined for a scorched-neutral look. Our favourites include Vibrate (the ultimate matte nude and perfect for your base colour), Heist (hello, rich cayenne hue) and Strike (we're all here for a reddish brown).
Urban Decay's Naked palettes are up there as one of our favourite shadows for their staying power. They're rich, velvety texture makes them ultra-blendable and pigmented, and seeing as the new mini palette contains the same pigment infusion system as its larger counterpart, we know the pigment payoff will be second to none. We're sure this Naked Petite Heat Palette is about to become a firm favourite in our beauty bag. Plus, it actually fits in our beauty bag this time. Win-win. It's not currently available in the UK, as it's available 22 March. Until then, we highly recommend you check out the original Naked Heat Palette (£40) if you haven't already.
