Between Oscar parties and several other award shows across the pond this week, celebs were really stepping up their beauty game. The lips got redder, the eyes got sultrier, and the skin got even glowier. Scroll through to see the week’s most stunning looks from Alexa Chung, Joan Smalls, and more!
The singer known for her affinity for classic beauty traded red lips for an exaggerated smoky eye, and the look was undeniably cool. Untouched brows, bare lips, and slicked-back hair (so on-trend, Tay!) make us hope this edgier version of Swift is here to stay.

Alexa Chung looked fresh-faced and feminine in shades of soft pink. Perfectly undone hair (re: Alexa Chung hair) and her signature black winged eyeliner still present.

A high pony was the perfect choice to showcase Smalls’ glossy nude lips and defined eyes. To create the voluminous, textured ponytail, celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez first blew-out the model’s hair with a large round brush, then curled the hair with a one-inch curling iron (leaving the ends out), and finished by spraying Serge Normant’s Dream Big Volumizing Spray ($15) all over.
Celebrity Hairstylist Adir Abergel created Diane Kruger’s 1920s-esque side-swept, cascading bangs and ponytail combination after seeing her outfit. “I loved the flowy top and I wanted to create the same movement with the hair,” Abergel says. After curling the hair in small sections with a half-inch barrel curling iron, Abergel brushed out the curls with a boar bristle brush and backcombed the crown for lift. He finished the look by smoothing Moroccanoil’s Hydrating Styling Cream ($31) through the hair.
Shades of gold and peach definitely suit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Celebrity makeup artist Monika Blunder used Becca’s Beach Tint Summer Soufflé ($27) in Guava/Moonstone on the cheeks and Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector ($41) in Moonstone as a highlight to make the model look positively glowing.
Jourdan Dunn, looking just as flawless as ever, walked the red carpet with groomed brows, defined eyes, and bare lips. But we still can’t stop staring at that perfectly tousled bob.
Sculpted cheeks, bright eyes, and red lips—Hannah Davis went for Old Hollywood glamour this week. Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin gave her the sleek low bun to complete the look.
