Taylor Hill Has Signed to THIS Beauty Brand

It’s no secret that here at Byrdie we’re a teensy bit (okay, a lot) obsessed with model Taylor Hill. Her all-American charm and refusal to be anything but grounded despite an already stellar career has a lot to do with it. She recently told Byrdie, "I have a really big family and really great friends, and I just like to surround myself with them and try to keep as normal of a life as I possibly can."

Oh, and then there’s the small matter of her standout look—those Bambi-esque eyes, bold brows and pillowy lips make her the perfect choice for a beauty brand. So it’s little wonder that today Lancôme has announced the model as its new ambassadress. The beauty brand also boasts other strong female faces including Penelope Cruz, Lupita Nyong'o and Kate Winslet, and has makeup artist Lisa Eldridge on board too.

Other career highlights at the tender age of 20 include adding 'Victoria’s Secret Angel' to her CV in 2014, walking the catwalks of Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Versace (to name a few) as well as making her first appearance in a movie this year, The Neon Demon starring Elle Fanning.

Of the appointment Françoise Lehmann, Lancôme’s International General Manager said, “We are delighted about this new collaboration with Taylor, who represents a modern Lancôme, in harmony with its time, with a subtle mix of sensuality, ingenuousness and sweet yet striking beauty.

"She is a very inspiring young woman for her generation: she is immensely curious, open-minded and has a positive outlook on life.”

We can’t wait to see Taylor’s first ad campaigns for the brand and the products she's fronting (we predict major sellouts already). Of her signing Hill she said, “I am very excited and honoured to join Lancôme. I love the vision behind this feminine brand. This new role of ambassadress is a major step in my career, a dream that has become reality.”
