Model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley debuted a surprising new haircut over the weekend when she Instagrammed a photo of her fresh chop alongside the man responsible, her longtime hair stylist George Northwood. Northwood is the London-based hair whiz accredited for providing Huntington-Whiteley with her signature voluminous blowouts and enviable brand of perfectly-tousled-yet-still-chic bed head. He is also the man behind Alexa Chung's similarly undone but elegant 'do.
Huntington-Whiteley got the cut at Northwood's eponymous salon in London, where his sister, Sally Northwood, does colour. She captioned the photo: "Ready for 2015 equipped with a fresh new do! Thank you to my favourite brother sister hair duo...#ShortHairDontCare #GeorgeNorthwood #SallyNorthwood#BeThereOrHaveBadHair."
It's the first truly short cut we've seen on Huntington-Whiteley in memory, as her sexy long layers have been part of her beauty identity for years; but we are really liking the way Northwood gave her plenty of layers and movement in the front around her face, so that it's essentially a shorter, fresher version of her longtime 'do versus an entirely new style altogether.
