Rosacea Sucks, but These Brands Will Treat Your Sensitive Skin Right

One in 10 Brits suffer with rosacea, and we get it, it sucks. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that is defined by "a chronic state of inflammation, which subsequently leads to facial redness, capillaries, acne-like bumps, and coarse skin texture," says Elizabeth Tanzi, MD, the founder and director of Capital Laser & Skin Care. As someone who suffers from rosacea herself, Tanzi asserts that though it's genetic, there are ways to treat it (and make it worse).

"In general, I never put my face in hot water, I don't go in hot tubs or steam rooms, as it really takes a toll on my skin. I wash my face at the sink with tepid water. It's important to avoid rosacea 'triggers,' such as hot weather and too much sun, cold weather and windburn, stress, alcohol, and caffeine." In addition, Rachel Nazarian, MD, of Schweiger Dermatology recommends using very gentle, non-irritating products that are pH-balanced.

Below, the two experts reveal the 10 best brands for those with rosacea.
