We have a love-hate relationship with our bathtub. We love it because baths are amazing (duh). We hate it because we rarely get to use it. Try a skin-softening Milk Bath. Cleopatra was a fan, so you’re guaranteed to feel pampered post-soak. The combination of almond meal, oats, and milk are designed to soothe skin and ease irritation. Add your favorite essential oil, like hydrating rose oil, for a boost of moisture.
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 1 tablespoon almond meal
- 1 tablespoon oat or barley flour
- 3-5 drops of essential oil
Settle into a Lavender Eucalyptus Salt Soak. While Epsom salt are designed to alleviate aches and pains, lavender will reduce tension and inflammation. Eucalyptus is also great for relieving muscle pain—and smells lovely.
- 2 cups Epsom salt
- 1/2 dry lavender
- 5 drops lavender essential oil
- 10 drops eucalyptus oil
While a Honey and Chamomile Bubble Bath certainly sounds grown-up, the bubbles are guaranteed to bring out your inner kid. Chamomile is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, and honey helps enhance the aromatic effects of the chamomile.
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup light almond oil
- 1/2 gentle liquid soap
- 5-7 chamomile tea bags
