There's one piercer that the A-list flock to when they want a new stud in their tragus or helix and that's Maria Tash. Her client list includes the likes of Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow and Julianne Moore, with many more people from all over the world heading to her New York shop when they're in town. And now, lucky for us, she's setting up shop at Liberty in central London later this year.
Tash has already tested the waters in London with a pop-up at Josh Wood's West London hair salon last year and another in Liberty a few months back. And to say both visits were seriously popular would be an understatement, so this time Tash is back permanently.
For you uninitiated, why book in? Well, she's famous for being one of the first jewellers to style a 'curated ear,' a collection of carefully placed piercings on the lobes and cartilage, and she's also well-known for her collection of dainty, diamond-encrusted ear adornments.

The Maria Tash Piercing Studio will open on the ground floor in Liberty on August 5 and will incorporate three private piercing rooms, with a piercer for each room. For those who know what they want and when they want it, you'll be able to make bookings, but they'll also be walk-in appointments, via a dedicated entrance on Little Marlborough Street, if you're feeling spontaneous. If you can't wait until then, we suggest you shop Maria Tash jewellery below.
