5 Makeup Looks We're Stealing From Love's 2017 Advent Calendar

For the past week and a half, something beauty-related has been brewing over on Instagram. Amongst the fashion week noise, you may have noticed world-renowned makeup artist Hung Vanngo sharing something a little more festive on his feed.

Of course, we're talking about his teasers of the 2017 Love advent calendar makeup looks. I've already saved every single one of them into my Instagram collections ready for Saturday night, and I apologise in advance, because you're absolutely going to want to as well.

Keep scrolling for the Love advent calendar looks and how to re-create them.

Elsa Hosk

It all started with Elsa. That pillowy red lip combined with a slightly exaggerated (but perfect) cat-eye flick. If there’s one look we want to re-create for date night, it’s this. We'd recommend using Charlotte Tilbury Screen Siren Liquid Matte Lipstick (£25) to get that velvety matte lip look.

Ashley Graham

Next up is model Ashley Graham. We can't get over this rust smoky eye paired with a matching peach lip and cheek colour. It's monochromatic makeup at its best. Get your hands on the new Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder Cheek Cream (£50) to give you that dewy, flushed look like Ashley.

Hannah Ferguson

Who'd have thought that a purple eye shadow and red lipstick could look so good together? The clever use of bronzer on the high points of the face, around the hair line and across the cheekbones pull the look together. We recommend using something bold, like the Bleach London Louder Powder in BS 1sh (£3), and keeping the lips bare so your eyes can do the talking.

Taylor Hill

It’s official: Nineties-style nude brown lips are here to stay. Vanngo just confirmed it by firmly placing them in the Love advent calendar on the gorgeous Taylor Hill. Want to get that brown lip look? Try Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème in Mahogany (£25).

Romee Strijjd

Hands up if, like us, you just can't stop thinking about Romee Strijjd's makeup here? Those. Eyes. We'd save this look for Saturday, and use our trusty Urban Decay Naked Heat palette (£39.50) to get that glimmering copper effect.

Up next, five smoky eyes to try now.
