Cindy Crawford has worked in the fashion industry as a model for about 30 years. Appearing on the front of all the biggest fashion magazines and walking for all the major fashion houses in the world during the 1980s cemented Crawford as one of the original supermodels. And now her doppelgänger, daughter Kaia Gerber, is set to follow in her footsteps after being announced as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
Gerber is only 15, but she has already secured her first cover with Pop magazine, after appearing on the front of Vogue Paris with her mum a few months previous. But that's not all. She's modelled for Alexander Wang, appeared in Teen Vogue and CR Fashion Book, and has just won Breakthrough Model of the Year, given to her by Daily Front Row's Fashion Media Awards. Oh, and like any rising star, she's got a stellar social media presence with over 800,000 followers on Instagram.
What we're saying is that she's clearly the face to watch right now, and we can guarantee that she's going to be someone we all look to for style inspiration in the months and years to come. Need a bit more persuading? Keep scrolling for a look at her Marc Jacobs campaign, and the reasons we think she's about to blow up.
Even though this is just a bit of clever lighting, this clearly proves she's adept at rocking any look. We'd quite like to dye our hair pink now.
That eyeliner look is what we'll be perfecting this weekend.
