This Is the Easiest Way to Wear a Bold Lip

A bold lip requires a certain level of dedication. There is the application—a lip pencil is needed to perfect the shape—and then there’s the blotting and the layering to get it to last as long as possible. And a bright lip is needy too. It has to be checked in on regularly to ensure it hasn’t gone awry. But things don’t have to be that way. Behind the scenes at Pringle, makeup artist Mathias van Hooff used a matte orange-red lipstick that he applied to the lips straight from the bullet. He then took a fluffy eye shadow brush to really buff the lipstick into the lips, blurring the edges and working the product into the skin for a long-lasting stain.
