Breakfast is one meal that should never be underestimated. Literally breaking your body’s overnight “fast”, not only does a healthy start to the day help to replenish your energy levels, but it’ll also help to kickstart everything from your metabolism to brain power.

If you prefer to keep things light in the morning, take a tip from Jennifer Lopez and whip up a nutritious shake or smoothie. Getting the right ingredients is key, however, as you’ll just feel hungry otherwise.
Discussing her daily eating habits during an interview with US Weekly, JLo revealed that she starts the day with a protein shake.
