Ah, Halloween. The time of pumpkin flavoured everything and an excuse to eat as much chocolate as we want (other than Christmas, of course). Over the years, we've seen this U.S. holiday grow in popularity, and while we can never compete with the spectacle of the States' home décor or dedication to trick-or-treating, we can at least try with our costumes.
Now, we're sure that you're already desperate to go as Eleven from Stranger Things but short of shaving your hair that's a tough one to pull off. We're kind of over the whole full-on Black Swan thing but a little nod to it can go down really well. Whether you want to channel a cat or just try something a little out there with your eyeliner, this look from Dior's Couture 2016 show is a winner for us. When all else fails, go for the glitter—and don't hold back. Give yourself an inky black smoky eye, then pile on gold craft glitter. Feel free to call yourself a fairy, rocker, anything really—the glitter speaks for itself.
If you've been itching to paint your face (to each her own), go all out by turning yourself into a walking, breathing Roy Lichtenstein painting. If you don't have face paint, not to fear—you can skip the white base and just use eyeliner and lipstick for the dots.
