We've never met a long weekend we weren't into, but that doesn't make packing for one any less annoying. With Labour Day right around the corner, we wanted to highlight top beauty products that work well when you're on the move, because maintaining our beauty routine shouldn't be all that complicated. Keep scrolling to see five skincare products we love (and why).
Coola’s SPF 30 Cucumber Matte Finish for Face ($36)
The brand scores a one out of 10 rating (zero being the best), according to EWG.org, a guide to skin safety that includes toxicity measurement and UV protection in sunscreens and other SPF products.
Shea Terra Eau de Rose du Maroc Hydrating Facial Spritz ($13)
As annoying as it is to pack a glass bottle of anything for a long weekend, we just can’t leave town without our rose water. And sorry, but for whatever reason, Shea Terra’s version just feels better on the skin than the other brands we’ve tried.
Shiseido Pureness Oil-Control Blotting Paper ($19)
For when you need to minimize a shiny forehead situation on the go. One sheet will do the trick. Easy, breezy.
RMS “Un” Cover-Up ($36)
For those blemishes that need to go away, like, right away. Unlike other coverups, the all-natural ingredients in this product hydrate; this formula doesn’t just cake on top of the skin. Note: Apply by gently pressing, not rubbing.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, For All Skin Types ($5)
Because despite access to the fanciest overpriced luxury facial cleansers under the sun, every dermatologist I’ve had, including my current one, has suggested Cetaphil. I figure if it’s safe to use with anti-aging and line-reducing products at medical grade, it's unlikely to agitate the accidental sunburn.
We wish we could bring our entire bathroom with us when we travel, but alas, there's never enough room in our bag. Well, maybe there's room for one more. Tell us, what product do you love that we missed?
