As beauty editors, we spend a lot of time on Instagram looking for inspiration on how to do our makeup, fresh ideas for skincare and new methods for styling our hair, which is why we have such love for the existing and new beauty bloggers of this world. Some of the most creative and exciting beauty ideas come from the blogosphere.
While there are plenty of people we already follow who are well established, there are always new bloggers who really stand out for us, whether that's because of their images, their ideas or just because they're doing something really fresh. With that in mind, we've rounded up some of the most interesting beauty bloggers around this year—some are newer to the industry than others, but either way we guarantee you'll get a heck of a lot of inspiration from all of them. Click through our gallery for our selection of the most exciting beauty bloggers to follow in 2016.
Why follow: This cute blog hasn't been around for long, but Maddie writes in such a funny way, as well as giving tips on beauty and lifestyle, it's a total breath of fresh air.
Why follow: Lesley from London is half English and half Nigerian and, as you can see, is absolutely stunning. Great for tips on treating and creating looks for afro hair.
Why follow: In need of a bit of sunshine? Then A Girl and a Beauty Blog is the feed for you. While it's UK-based, you'd never know it as the collection of stunning scenery pictures are all gorgeous and bright. She also snaps up some great beauty bargains, which ultimately make this blog a must-follow.
Why follow: As well as getting your beauty advice fix, it's also worth noting that the Masters Mechanical Engineering student Holly also has fabulously coloured fuschia hair.
Why follow: Run by blogger Cia, this has been going since 2014 but it's only just appeared on our radar. The fun pictures are as pretty to look at as they are useful, with insightful beauty product reviews.
Why follow: Other than the gorgeous editorials (pictured) that are just as stylish as they are beautiful, we also love the in-depth approach to skincare, such as this anti-pollution feature.
Why follow: There's nothing we love more than discovering what other people like to put on their faces, especially when it comes to lotions and potions. Sheryll Donerson, who runs The Wanderlust Project, often changes up her skincare regimen and posts about the new products she's using. This is one for the skincare obsessives.
