Colour, sparkle, volume, shine—what more could you want? This week, the celebs went all out. Click through to see Reese Witherspoon’s retro updo, Leighton Meester’s red lips, and the rest of the week’s most stunning beauty looks!
Need inspiration for how to pull off unexpected color combinations? Look no further. Leighton Meester’s lilac shimmery eye and red lip (courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Kayleen McAdams) is all you need.
For the Los Angeles premiere of Wild, Reese Witherspoon wanted a classic yet modern hairstyle, so celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel gave her a chic S-shaped chignon and ‘60s-inspired, heavy, side-swept bangs. To copy her bun, simply pull your hair back into a ponytail, twist it into an S-shaped knot, and pin it in place.
Jenna Dewan Tatum’s hair just keeps getting better. At the Hollywood Film Awards this week, she showed off a shorter cut and windblown texture (the handiwork of hairstylist Derek-Peter Williams).
Kristen Stewart is quickly becoming the go-to girl for eye makeup inspiration. Clearly celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey knew what she was doing when she created this silver metallic smoky eye with a pop of teal liner, which looks gorgeous with the actress’ green eyes.
Tessa Thompson went for effortless glamour with deep plum brown lips and an undone version of the classic bob. Makeup artist Molly Greenwald gave the actress a “no-frills eye” and sculpted cheekbones to go with her matte lips, all of which complemented the smooth, lightly backcombed wave hairstylist Brian Fisher created for Thompson.
Hairstylist Kristin Heitkotter gave Camila Alves a sleek center part with cascading curls for Matthew McConaughey’s Walk of Fame ceremony. She used a one-inch flat iron to smooth down the hairline and front sections and a 1 1/4-inch curling iron to curl the back. A touch of smoothing serum on the ends and Alves was red carpet ready.
