When it comes to beauty, ASOS has seriously upped its game, having recently rebranded its beauty section Face + Body and giving it a total overhaul. It seems like each week more and more of the most coveted beauty brands are dropping onto the site. With so much choice, it can get confusing, so I've pulled together a list of 15 brands worth seeking out. Well, that knit in your fashion haul would look great paired with a new lipstick or eye shadow palette, now wouldn't it?
Isle of Paradise
Isle of Paradise is seriously smart fake tan, it has colour-correcting pigments inside to ensure a real looking tan, whether you choose the light, medium or dark shade. We love the Self Tanning Drops which can be added to any face or body moisturiser for a gradual glow.
Sanoflore is an organic French pharmacy brand and this toner, which removes traces of dirt and makeup and tightens pores sells one every two minutes over the channel. Oh, and it's vegan-friendly too.
There's a reason why Laura Mercier is loved by every beauty editor and makeup artist I know. Because every single product delivers. Case in point? The Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer Duo might be an oldie, but it sure is a goodie.
From their longwear foundations to their infinite lipstick shades, I don't think there's a Smashbox product I've tried and not loved. My all-time favourite though? This Photo Finish Radiance Primer that is not only packed with hyaluronic acid, but has a lovely golden sheen that leaves your skin looking beyond glowy.
We're glad to know Ouai, the brand founded by Jen Atkin (arguably the planet's coolest hairstylist), is stocked on ASOS. Not sure which product to start with? The Dry Shampoo Foam mops up grease with no powdery residue.
Cult beauty brand Bobbi Brown has just dropped on ASOS. Next time you're shopping, add the Eye Opening Mascara into your basket. It creates thick, fluttery lashes without any clumps.
Late nights don't just make you feel rubbish; they don't exactly leave your complexion looking fresh either. This mist can be used before makeup to act like a primer, after application to set your face in place or as a midday refresher. Expect glowing skin that won't give your hangover away.
Lixir is the hot-right-now skincare brand, and it's new to ASOS. We love its Night Switch Retinol 1% (£28); retinol is the gold standard anti-ageing ingredient because it tackles everything from skin tone and texture to fine lines and dullness.
BYBI is another of those cult online beauty brands, and its hero product is its Babe Balm. Clear and multipurpose, it can be used to hydrate dry cuticles, elbows or lips, or you can use it on your cheekbones and brow bones to impart a dewy highlight. Obsessed.
Sand & Sky
This Insta-famous brand hailing from Australia has over 226k followers. The new Australian Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment (£35) is a leave-on exfoliating mask that detoxifies and brightens the skin.
DR. DENNIS GROSS
Love exfoliating? This dual-phase peel contains one acid-packed wipe that swipes away dead skin cells and resurfaces your complexion, while the second one contains neutralising and anti-ageing ingredients. Team Byrdie are big fans of these.
If you're looking for an invigorating facial wash, this Elemis one is packed with three acids—succinic, lactic and ferulic—which help remove dirt and grime, clearing the way for your post-cleanse skincare to work even better.
COCO & EVE
Another Instagram favourite, Coco & Eve has almost 88k followers but just one product. The Like a Virgin Super Nourishing Coconut & Fig Hair Masque (£35) contains raw virgin coconut oil fig to clean the scalp and lock moisture into the strands. With just a five- to 10-minute use once or twice a week, it'll help prevent hair breakage and split ends. It comes with a detangling brush too.
