What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever been given?
The best advice I've ever been given is to really take care of my skin. I wash it with a gentle gel cleanser in the morning and make sure to take off every trace of my makeup at night. I try to moisturize it as much as possible and wear a hat when I'm in the sun. I also use a tinted moisturizer with SPF daily. ?
The craziest thing you've done in the name of beauty is: cover a small pimple with a dark brown eye pencil to make it look like a beauty mark. It works really well if the pimple is in the right place.
What’s the one beauty trend you’ve always wanted to try, but have been afraid to?
I'm not afraid to try anything, except for bleaching my eyebrows—not for me.
Who is your “eye candy”?
Well, there's this guy I know named Pierson Fode who I think is rather attractive… He's also a really great actor and one of the best humans I know. We did a movie together called Naomi & Ely's No Kiss List that will be released soon. I'm really proud of it.
If you could solve any great mystery throughout history, what would it be and why?
I would want to know the meaning of Stonehenge, and how in the hell they built it! It's absolutely mind boggling. I've always wanted to see it in person.
Who was your TV heroine/inspiration growing up?
I was a really big fan of Lizzie Mcguire, That's So Raven, and The Amanda Show. I think all those girls were great with comedy and were great role models. I was specifically inspired more by Raven and Amanda as far as physical comedy goes. They were both fearless and weren't afraid to take risks. ?
Who would be your dream duet?
Honestly there's sooo many people. I really love Jason Mraz, though. I was once at a producer friend’s backyard party, and Jason grabbed his guitar and did a super intimate performance of his song “Lucky” and I was blown away. He just has this pure, beautiful tone. I would be a lucky girl if I ever got to write or record with him.
If you could create any app, what would it be?
I would love an app to make people laugh when they're feeling low. It could be with positive affirmations, videos, or maybe just a song.
What is something most people get wrong about you?
That I'm related to Nina Dobrev or that I'm really her. Believe it or not, I've had a woman in a furniture store insist that I WAS after I repeatedly told her that I in fact, was not Nina Dobrev.
