Is This the Best Naked Palette Yet?

Elinor Block

It seems like every week Urban Decay announces a new product launch—not that we're complaining. If you're a die-hard fan of the cult beauty brand, then you'll know that an opportunity to get your hands on something brand-new from UD is what makeup dreams were made of. Well, brace yourselves, because with this new launch, Urban Decay is really spoiling us.

This time, the brand has launch a new Naked palette (insert all the dancing lady emoji) called Naked Ultimate Basics. Following on from the incredible success of all its other Naked palettes, this new one is set to be its most wearable and flattering version yet. It includes 12 new colours that suit every skin tone.

Predictably, Urban Decay junkies have lost their minds over the new product. Case in point: The Urban Decay Instagram post (above) announcing the Naked Ultimate Basics palette has garnered over 170,000 likes and 12,500 comments, whereas normal posts tend to get only half of that. Basically, what we're saying is that this is a pretty big deal.

The new shades are called Blow, Nudie, Commando, Tempted, Instinct, Lethal, Pre-Game, Extra Bitter, Faith, Lockout, Magnet and Blackjack, and are all very neutral colours, which will suit everyone. While Urban Decay is known for its bold and bright hues, we can predict that this palette will be something you'll want to wear every day.

Happily it's available as of today, which is music to our Urban Decay–junkie ears.
