The Affordable Exfoliating Pads Kylie Jenner Swears By
As a beauty editor, when you get the chance to speak to a woman who's made a success of not one but two internationally renowned beauty brands, you say yes, pronto. Maria Hatzistefanis is the entrepreneur behind both Rodial and Nip+Fab and now boasts a long line of incredible products that are stocked in over 25,000 stores and 35 countries. Phew. Oh, and Kylie Jenner is a massive fan, which is all you need to make any brand go totally stratospheric.
When I had the chance to chat with Hatzistefanis about her new book, How to Be an Overnight Success, she not only gave us a good insight into her brands but also told us about which products that people are obsessed with. There was one in particular that she says always sells out and comes Kylie Jenner–endorsed, and it turns out Byrdie Editorial Director Amy Lawrenson is also a massive fan. PS: It's only £13 and will leave you with incredible skin. Want to find out what it is? Keep scrolling for more…
Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads (£13)
If you know anything about Nip+Fab, you won't be surprised to discover that it's the Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing pads that are the big sellers. These are now a favourite by many of the brand's followers, in part thanks to the Kardashian/Jenner effect but also, of course, because they work so well. When I spoke to Hatzistefanis, she said that these are Kylie's favourites: "She has a lot of makeup on, so to look flawless at all times these are a great way to unclog the pores. Plus, there's no water needed to use them."
With 60 pads contained in one pot, you only need one or two to swipe over your face to make it feel clean, which will immediately help various skin problems thanks to three important ingredients. Firstly, the glycolic acid helps to resurface the skin, so if you've got texture problems, it will improve the look. Next up, the hyaluronic acid moisturises the skin, and finally, the blue daisy makes sure your face is left feeling soothed.
There are various reasons why you might want to start using these, but if you're keen to keep breakouts at bay or just make your complexion look brighter, then these are a must-try.
