As a beauty editor, when you get the chance to speak to a woman who's made a success of not one but two internationally renowned beauty brands, you say yes, pronto. Maria Hatzistefanis is the entrepreneur behind both Rodial and Nip+Fab and now boasts a long line of incredible products that are stocked in over 25,000 stores and 35 countries. Phew. Oh, and Kylie Jenner is a massive fan, which is all you need to make any brand go totally stratospheric.

When I had the chance to chat with Hatzistefanis about her new book, How to Be an Overnight Success, she not only gave us a good insight into her brands but also told us about which products that people are obsessed with. There was one in particular that she says always sells out and comes Kylie Jenner–endorsed, and it turns out Byrdie Editorial Director Amy Lawrenson is also a massive fan.
