Why you loved it: The no-poo movement (not using shampoo) has really gained momentum over the past few years. While not everyone wants to forgo the item, there is an in-between option—the cleansing creme. This one is a non-foaming creme that promises to leave hair soft and silky thanks to its combo of of aloe vera and essential oils.
Huda Beauty Liquid Matte (£18)
Why you loved it: The matte lipstick revolution was definitely a thing in 2016. Thanks, in part, to Kylie Jenner's über-popular lip kits, there was also another big beauty influencer who made matte lipsticks a must-have—Huda Kattan. The highly pigmented, non-drying lipsticks stay put for hours and come in many different shades.

Why you loved it: With an even greater focus on wellness in 2016, there was definitely a shift to people being more concerned about what they were in putting in their bodies.
