The Ultimate Met Gala Guessing Game: Who's Wearing a Wig?
The Met Gala red carpet is one of the best places for celebs to try out entirely different edgy looks—and with this year's theme circling around Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons, all bets are definitely off. Sure enough, we've noticed a variety of particularly artistic hairstyles hitting the red carpet, which begs the question: Is that hair real or fake?
In many cases, it's exceedingly hard to tell. Some of the most talented stylists in the industry are behind these looks, and you better believe that those wigs are of the best quality—they're even washed, trimmed and styled as if they're the celebrity's own strands. On the flip side, some of the more elaborate 'dos on the red carpet tonight could pass off as fake, when they are, in fact, very real. Can you tell the difference? Keep scrolling to guess which celebrities below are wearing wigs and which aren't.

Wig. Suave Professionals Hairstylist Gregory Russell confirms that this homage to designer Rei Kawakubo is in fact not Collins's real hair. He did, however, treat it as such: While the actress was wearing it, he shampooed, dried and styled the wig using Suave products to get that sleek, modern finish.
Kylie Jenner: Wig or no wig?

Wig. Considering that Jenner posted a dark-haired selfie with sister Kendall just a few hours prior to her arrival on the red carpet, that would be a remarkably fast hair processing time.
Bella Hadid: Wig or no wig?

No wig. It is a brand-new chop, however.
Haley Bennett: Wig or no wig?

No wig. The actress revealed several behind-the-scenes snaps of her 'do on Instagram, and while it's certainly elaborate, stylist Garren did work with her actual hair.
Kerry Washington: Wig or no wig?
Rose Byrne: Wig or no wig?
