My Life in Beauty: Vestiaire Collective's Fanny Moizant
In our new series, My Life in Beauty, we’ll be asking the industry experts with a wealth of beauty knowledge to share with us the contents of their makeup bags and bathroom cabinets (because who doesn’t love a good nose?), as well as the treatments they book on repeat. Earlier this month Liz Hambleton, editorial director at Treatwell and former beauty director at Grazia, let us inside her world, and now Vestiaire Collective's co-founder Fanny Moizant is sharing her beauty secrets.
Space NK has a good selection of brands and products, but my favourite place to shop is Liberty (pictured, above). It’s great for having a wander around, getting inspired and testing new products. It’s also not far from my house, so it's the perfect place to visit when I’m sneaking out for an hour!
I'm obsessed with beauty website ohmycream.com, they stock all my favourite French beauty products including Joelle Ciocco—she is a French epidemiologist and her products are fantastic. I’m also a big fan of Onira Organic.
I keep two products on my desk, one is my Charlotte Tilbury Lip Magic (£25). I like to have it to hand as it instantly leaves my lips feeling hydrated. Even if they are a little cracked, this sorts them out and it also smells great!
The other product is Bumble & Bumble Curl Conscious Reactivating Mist (Ed Note: This is no longer available, instead try the Bumble & bumble Curl Pre-Style/Re-Styler Primer, £21). I’ll spritz my hair with this during the day if it’s feeling a little flat and it instantly refreshes.
I keep all of my products in metal pots, they are so handy. I spotted them at a garden centre, and I knew immediately that they'd be perfect for storing my makeup. I like the products that I use everyday at hand, so I don't have to rummage through makeup bags to find a certain product when I’m in a rush.
My makeup bag is by Charlotte Tilbury, I’m a fan of her products and love nothing more than a trip to her store in Covent Garden.
Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick (£30) leaves my skin looking sun-kissed any time of the year. I use the Las Salinas shade on my lips and cheeks for a pop of dewy colour; I find that it also moisturises and plumps my skin.
I use Rodial Glamstick (£34, part of the 3-Step Perfect Pout Kit) in Just Daisy. I love the rosy colour of it, it’s the kind of lipstick that doesn’t look like you’re trying too hard.
This David Mallet Hair Serum #DM027 (£47) is the best out there. It protects my hair and leaves it shiny without making it greasy or sticky. It’s also good to use as protection from salt water, chlorine and sun damage.
My Little Black Beauty Book:
When I’m in Paris, I’ll call epidemiologist Joelle Ciocco who will send a member of her team to my hotel room. They do the best facials, which is often just what I need after I’ve been travelling.
I see my personal trainer, Dwayne Cooper, three times a week which is great but can leave me feeling a little achy, so I try to have a massage once a week (or more realistically just as often as I can!). I try to schedule one for a Sunday evening, as I find it really sets me up for the week.
