3 Easy Hairstyles That Will Survive Your Spin Class
Choosing the right hairstyle for a spin class may seem trivial, just pop it up and go! But a hairstyle that doesn’t get in the way and makes you feel good is key. You’ll be more confident and thus more focused on the task at hand—the teacher’s instructions—rather than what your hair is or isn’t doing. We called on Kaya Cansfield, a beauty PR turned instructor at London’s Psycle to share her go-to hairstyles and products for a spin class.
Hair straight and in a ponytail with a lot of hairspray is probably the best and most practical updo. It keeps everything out of the way and you don't look like a drowned rat after class! It's neat, it stays and it's simple. Perfect!
This may seem odd but if you’re booked in for a class that is part cycling, part party then your hair can become part of it. If you've been to my class you'll know I get SO into it and love to flick my hair. *Sings… I whip my hair back and fourth!* Dampen your hair with water before and mist with a leave-in conditioner to treat your hair during the session. Try Aussie Miracle Recharge Leave In Treatment Shine (£4).
If your hair is down, the bandana keeps your hair out of your face and looks a lot cooler. Or wear it with a ponytail and match your bandana to your outfit. If you are heading home to shower it disguises sweaty roots in the meantime.
