We all know you’re not supposed to pick your cuticles. But when they’re bad, they’re bad—sometimes the urge is possible to resist. Which is precisely why my fingers are red (ok, bleeding) 80 per cent of the time. Given my tumultuous relationship with my cuticles, I gravitate towards cuticle products of all kinds, but mainly removers. The idea that a few drops of a magical gel could make all of my ragged cuticle woes go away seems a little far-fetched, but also too good to pass up.
