Here's How to Channel 12 Different Celebrities With Just One Product
If you had to envision Emily Ratajkowski's signature lip colour, what would it be? What about Nicole Kidman, Poppy Delevingne, or Miranda Kerr?
Charlotte Tilbury recently did just that and created a whole slew of celebrity-inspired lipsticks (a dozen, to be exact) in collaboration with each featured woman so you can embody a different starlet by way of your lip colour every day of the week.
Feeling like a vibrant red? Try Tell Laura, Laura Bailey's shade. Is it more of a soft, rosy pink kind of day? Liv It Up (named for Liv Tyler) is your best bet. There's even a shade designated for Kim Kardashian-West called—what else—Kim K.W., a peachy nude that Tilbury predicts will "sell out so fast." Check out all 12 shades (plus four existing hues she's included in the collection) below!
From left to right, each shade is named for the following: Poppy Delevingne, Miranda Kerr, Kim Kardashian-West, Kate Bosworth, Salma Hayek, Liv Tyler, Emily Ratajkowski, Helena Bonham-Carter, Nicole Kidman, Cindy Crawford, Carina Lau, Laura Bailey, Penelope Cruz, Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, and Victoria Beckham (the four latter of which are already existing shades).
Each shade is a part of Tilbury's "Hot Lips" collection, but while the "hot" moniker may give off a cheeky vibe, the initiative that the line wishes to radiate is a bit more serious.
"Lipstick has the power to give women confidence and hope all over the world. Even in countries affected by conflict where Women for Women International (an organisation Tilbury has teamed up with) helps, lipstick is often a powerful statement of defiance. It's what I call the psychology of makeup: When you look good, you feel good, and when you're at your most confident, you can unlock your power on the world around you," says Tilbury.
As a result, £1 from every Hot Lips purchase will go towards Women for Women within the first two months of the launch. Unfortunately, the line isn't available until June, but in the meantime, we strongly suggest giving Tilbury's latest release a test drive: Magic Night Rescue Cream (£100). We're obsessed with it.
