What the All-Red Chanel Makeup Collection Looks Like on a Face IRL
We've already told you that Chanel's new makeup collection created by the fashion house's Creative Makeup and Colour Designer Lucia Pica, is going to be all kinds of red. Now, while a scarlet lipstick, crimson nails and even a rosy blusher are all well and good, what about that promise of red mascara and eye shadow? We'd forgive you for feeling a little sceptical about that side of the collection, as it seems a little unrealistic, but we now have proof that this look is totally wearable, and more than that, it looks incredibly gorgeous.
At the premiere of new TV biopic, Victoria, starring actress Jenna Coleman in the titular role, we got a glimpse of Chanel's Le Rouge Collection No.1 in action. Created by makeup artist Valeria Ferreira, the look was a soft smokey brown-red eye with a deep, purply crimson lip. The makeup perfectly complemented the actress' Erdem gown and gravity-defying Jimmy Choo heels.
