City Guide: The #1 Nail Bar Glasgow Bloggers Rate
London might be a great place for the occasional Harry Styles spot, restaurant openings that require queuing and actual parties on the Underground, but when it comes to gel nails, Glasgow might just take the crown. According to research from Mintel, the world's leading market intelligence agency, gel nails are the most popular treatment in the Scottish city.
Now, you might never have visited Glasgow before (if you haven't, do—it's worth it for this guy alone), but if you live there or are about to go on a trip, then you might want to get your nails done at some point. We turned to influential Glaswegian blogger Kate Spiers, who runs the popular site Kate La Vie, to give us a heads-up on the best nail salon, and boy did she deliver. Keep scrolling to find out the number one nail salon in Glasgow that bloggers rate.
When we spoke to Spiers, she immediately told us that she only ever goes to one place: NAF Salon. We asked her why, and she said that the "manis are nothing short of beautiful." Plus, "it's the most Instagrammable place ever," which is basically a win on two fronts.
As for how much a manicure will set you back, a gel mani starts from £15, but you can also opt for an accent nail which starts from £18. Amazingly, if you want a full set of hand-painted nails, it's a very reasonable £45. You can book online at nafsalon.com. Keep scrolling to take a look at the salon's designs.
